Carl van Leeuwen

Carl earned his degree in Dutch Law from Leiden University, with a specialization in Private Law and electives in Copyright and Patent Law. His graduation thesis was on the precontractual information obligation in the Dutch Franchise Act; in it he proposed a solution for the information asymmetry between the franchisor and the franchisee. From 2016 until 2021, when he came to work at Van der Goen, he worked in the legal department of a financial services provider.
